After discovering the Asian Underground through Talvin Singh's legendary compilation "Sounds of the Asian Underground", Prasnation was entranced by the eclectic pull of traditional Indian sounds mixed with the heavy electro-beats of the new generation. What he heard blew his mind and he hasn't given up the music ever since. Soon after discovering this fresh new sound, he worked hard at expanding his musical tastes.

Initially, Prasnation started spinning Trance/House and then moved on to DnB/Breaks. Concurrently, he spun private parties to crowds favoring Bhangra/Bollywood sounds. Now, he works hard at bringing the diverse genres together. Bollywood meets House, Dnb/Breaks meet Bhangra. Growing up in the Middle East - his exposure to Arabic music - and his Indian descent has helped him blend Asian influences into his sets.

His passion spins sitar-laced beats, flute-infused breaks and dhol-inspired hip hop. For Prasnation, it's about exploring the divide between the east and the west.
